ZX has set off on our carbon neutral journey

Over the last 6 months, ZX has been investigating solutions to support us on our mission to make conscious choices that will positively affect the environment. After careful consideration we have elected to work with Toitū Envirocare, an organisation dedicated to supporting organisations to reduce their environmental impact. Our journey with Toitū began with a comprehensive assessment in January 2023, which will later on allow us to get a clear understanding of our carbon footprint and address its reduction further.

As part of ZX’s efforts to become carbon neutral we also explored the use of the Carbon Invoice app in November 2022. Carbon Invoice is incredibly user friendly and their app allows you to offset emissions via integrating to your accounting system, such as Xero. If you’re thinking about starting your own carbon reduction journey, we encourage you to give it a go!

At ZX Security, we believe in taking a top-down approach to environmental responsibility. Our Green Team is dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and finding new and innovative ways to make a positive impact on the environment. Through our carbon neutral journey with Toitū, we are committed to minimising our carbon emissions and offsetting what we cannot reduce.

At ZX we believe that carbon assessments and reduction initiatives can also provide companies with cost savings, through the implementation of more energy-efficient processes and the adoption of sustainable technologies.
