ZX Security is a recognised leader in the Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), having conducted numerous investigations, spoken at national conferences and provided training to customers across various industry sectors.
Within the OSINT space, ZX Security delivers a number of different services ranging from process development, through to training and support. These are described in more detail below:
OSINT Process Development
The majority of organisations conducting investigations do not have an adequately defined OSINT process in place. This often leads to poorly collected intelligence, inconsistent results and reports missing vital evidence. ZX Security will work with your organisation to ensure the process you have in place is sound, repeatable and the evidence you collect actionable. In addition, we work with your team directly to ensure the process documentation is tailored specifically to your organisation.
The ZX Security Advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Training course is delivered as either a one or two day-long workshop in which participants cover the techniques and tools used to conduct successful investigations on the Internet. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to produce relevant, timely and actionable intelligence.
Customers that conduct regular online investigations often require assistance when encountering technical problems outside their domain of knowledge. ZX Security provides third tier support to investigate staff in order to assist them in addressing technically challenging issues as they arise. Example support requests include:
- Downloading, storing and sorting all comments from a YouTube video.
- Extracting the meta data from an archive of documents
- Programmatically collecting all the posts from a Facebook Group
For organisations that don’t have an investigative capacity, require a technical specialist or just need extra resource for a period of time, ZX Security also conducts OSINT investigations on behalf of our customers. Typical engagements include Monitoring of Issue Motivated Groups (IMGs), Investigation of companies and Investigation of individuals or groups of individuals.
